Applications of DBTDL

1. Used as heat stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride, curing agent for silicone rubber, catalyst for polyurethane foam, etc.

2. Used as plastic stabilizer and rubber curing agent

3. It can be used as a heat stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride. It is the earliest type of organic tin stabilizer. The heat resistance is not as good as that of butyl tin maleate, but it has excellent lubricity, weather resistance and transparency. The agent has good compatibility, no frosting, no vulcanization pollution, and no adverse effect on heat sealing and printing. And because it is liquid at room temperature, its dispersibility in plastics is better than that of solid stabilizers. This product is mainly used for soft transparent products or semi-soft products, and the general dosage is 1-2%. It has a synergistic effect when used in combination with metal soaps such as cadmium stearate and barium stearate or epoxy compounds. In hard products, this product can be used as a lubricant, and used together with the organic tin maleic acid or thiol organic tin to improve the fluidity of the resin material. Compared with other organotins, this product has a greater initial coloring property, which will cause yellowing and discoloration. This product can also be used as a catalyst in the synthesis of polyurethane materials and a curing agent for silicone rubber. In order to improve the thermal stability, transparency, compatibility with resin, and improve its impact strength when used in hard products, many modified varieties have been developed. Generally, fatty acids such as lauric acid are added to the pure product, and some epoxy esters or other metal soap stabilizers are also added. This product is poisonous. Oral LD50 of rats is 175mg/kg.

4. Can be used as polyurethane catalyst.

5. For organic synthesis, as stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride resin.
