Isotridecanol polyoxyethylene ether, as a new type of surfactant, has broad potential application scenarios

Isotridecanol polyoxyethylene-1

Isotridecanol polyoxyethylene ether is a nonionic surfactant. Depending on its molecular weight, it can be classified into different models and series, such as 1302, 1306, 1308, 1310, as well as the TO series and TDA series. Isotridecanol polyoxyethylene ether exhibits excellent properties in penetration, wetting, emulsification, and dispersion, making it widely applicable in fields such as pesticides, cosmetics, detergents, lubricants, and textiles. It enhances the cleaning performance of products and is primarily used in concentrated and ultra-concentrated liquid detergent formulations, such as laundry detergent capsules and dishwasher detergents. The production processes for isotridecanol polyoxyethylene ether include the ethylene oxide addition method and the sulfate ester method, with the ethylene oxide addition method being the mainstream synthesis process. This method involves the addition polymerization of isotridecanol and ethylene oxide as the main raw materials.
