UOP APG™ III Adsorbent
Improved performance
Since the introduction of 13X APG adsorbent to the APPU market, UOP has made steady product improvements.
Our APG III adsorbent is now available for commercial use after several years of development and manufacturing runs. It has 90% greater CO2 capacity than 13X APG adsorbent.
Reduced costs or increased throughput
In new designs, APG III adsorbent can lead to reduced vessel sizes, lower pressure drop and lower regeneration costs. In existing or under-designed units, APG III adsor- bent can be used to increase throughput in the existing vessels and within the pressure drop constraints of the design. Lower operating costs and longer adsorbent life are achievable for both new and existing units.
