UOP AZ-300 Adsorbent
Applications
AZ-300 hybrid adsorbent is used to remove impurities from hydrocarbon streams. It has a high capacity for a wide range of polar molecules, including H2, oxygenates, organic sulfurs and nitrogen compounds. It also has high selectivity and capacity for light acid gases such as CO2, H2S and COS. All of these and others can
be removed to ultra-low effluent levels to assure polymerization catalyst activity and functionality. The broad functionality of AZ-300 adsorbent for olefin purification enables the use of one adsorbent where previously a compound bed of various adsorbents was required. AZ-300 adsorbent can be regenerated for reuse by purging or evacuating at elevated temperatures.
Safe loading and unloading of the adsorbent from your equipment is imperative to ensure you realize the full potential of AZ-300 adsorbent. For proper safety and handling, please contact your UOP representative.
